In the sea of crying funeral attendees to the accompaniment of pouring rain, a woman who is bidding farewell to her husband seems unmoved. Only after successive glasses of wine when memories return, does she burst out with intense emotions and is provoked to demonstrate surprising behaviour. The absurd situation is intensified by a visit of a mysterious woodpecker. This Estonian-Croatian animation focuses on the theme of loneliness and suffering after the loss of a loved one. Hovering over the border between a drama and a grotesque, it tries to answer the question as to how to deal with grief and cleanse oneself of the sense of guilt.
