‘Girls should not have opinions. Higher education is useless if you have no husband. If you have a daughter, she will cook you a meal or give you medication. A son will protect you and a daughter will feed you.’ Don’t they both deserve to live? The animation touches upon a difficult and hidden subject – sex-selective abortions performed in Montenegro. It employs stereotypical opinions on the two genders, fragments of conversations and singing illustrated with images derived from Balkan tradition. Intertwining scenes of individual stages of human life, from birth to death, emphasise the power of patriarchy, so well-engrained in the system.

Coauthor of the first Montenegrin animated band for children - "Donkeys". Coauthor of the monograph "Kickouts" that illustrates the speech of a local community in Montenegro. Coauthor of the socially engaged project "Girls with marbles", which aims to point out the value of girls. "Son!" is her directorial, acting and dramaturgical debut.

Coauthor of the first Montenegrin animated band for children - "Donkeys". Coauthor of the monograph "Kickouts" that illustrates the speech of a local community in Montenegro. Coauthor of the socially engaged project "Girls with marbles", which aims to point out the value of girls. "Son!" is his directorial debut and solo performance of drawing and animation.
