Hear us out! Listen to the KFF TALKS Podcast

We are continuing the series of meetings that we started two years ago during the Krakow Film Festival. This time, KFF TALKS has taken the form of a short podcast. In it, we talk to the directors of the films shown as part of the Best Polish Documentaries project in Kraków and Małopolska’s arthouse cinemas. The first episode is already available, while next episodes will be released once a month.

The first episode of the KFF TALKS Podcast features the director of the film No Elephant in the Room. Clara Kleininger-Wanik shares her first memories of the eponymous circus in Bucharest with Magdalena Walo. She also discusses, among other things, the feelings she had when her film was screened at the 63rd Krakow Film Festival and the emotions that accompanied the protagonists of No Elephant in the Room at the premiere of the documentary at the Astra Festival in Romania. There are also some behind-the-scenes stories from the making of the film and a conversation about archival materials.

The first episode of the KFF TALKS Podcast is available here.

The recording was made within the hospitable walls of the Potocki Palace, courtesy of the Kraków Festival Office. Krakow Film Festival’s Magdalena Walo is responsible for the production.

More episodes will be released once a month, together with further screenings of films presented as part of the project co-financed by the City of Krakow.

Krakow Film Festival is on the exclusive list of qualifying events for the Oscars® in the categories of short film (live action, animated, documentary) and documentary feature, as well as a recommending event for the European Film Awards in the same categories.

The 64th Krakow Film Festival will be held from 26 May to 2 June 2024. KFF VOD is available until 16 June 2024 https://www.krakowfilmfestival.pl/vod/.
