Maja, a six year old girl, starts her Danish kindergarten. Together with her parents, she has recently moved from Serbia to Scandinavia. The girl is reluctant to stay at a new place by herself. She spends her time playing games which are different from the games of other children, which leads to conflict with them and lack of understanding on the part of her teachers. There are two key moments in the day of the young protagonist – parting with her parents in the morning, which she hates, and waiting for their return when they can finally spend time together.
