Tell Me More

Poland / 2020 / documentary / 29' / National Competition

Martyna takes care of her mother suffering from amyotrophic lateral sclerosis. Her film is a minimalist chronicle of everyday challenges that one needs to face when looking after a paralysed person. The daughter takes up efforts to talk, possibly for the last time, to her mother, who communicates with the world only through eye ball movements. Although an exchange of opinions in this situation is a tedious and time-consuming process, their conversations can be surprisingly lively.
