Toomas Beneath the Valley of the Wild Wolves

Estonia, Croatia, France / 2019 / animated / 18' / Short Film Competition

Toomas, who has lost his corporate job, needs to look for another source of income. He starts as a plumber and ends up in Italian porn-westerns. He keeps his new occupation a secret from his pregnant wife. She has her secrets, too, such as lectures about female domination followed by practical workshops with a male slave. The married couple's secrets are about to be revealed... This uncompromising and risqué animation with wolves as the main characters breaks conventions and leads up to an unexpected finale. The peculiar characters of Chintis Lundgen's films have never been so liberated.
