Parents always want to give their children the best possible future. For this reason, a Russian-Jewish family emigrated from Russia to Germany in the mid-1990s. Did they really have a better life in a foreign country? What problems did they have to face? What is it like to start all over again? And, finally. would they decide to do it again? A vivid story of a family who changed their country of residence in search of better prospects. Authentic stories of family members are illustrated by hand-painted pictures, making the documentary more poetic, but also universal.
