The director presents his biography, complicated and full of turns of action, including musical successes and failures, drug addiction and a religious awakening. Little Richard’s colourful image and unique expression on stage influenced many artists. Along with a variety of archival materials, the film features Mick Jagger, Paul McCartney and John Waters, all fascinated with him.
