The protagonist of the film is a nameless shepherd, whom we meet in the pandemic reality. Near a pasture where he grazes his goats and sheep, there is a lab which carries out Covid-19 vaccine research. Experiments are conducted on large numbers of farm animals. The ailing shepherd needs help in taking care of his herd. As it turns out, shepherding is not an attractive occupation for the younger generation, focused on professionalisation. The film shows difficult co-existence between human beings and nature and asks where a healthy relationship between the world of people and animals begins and ends.
