This documentary was made thanks to crowdfunding, and its broadcast on the Spanish TV gained a lot of publicity. ‘Two Breaths’ is a testimony of the velvet-glove violence perpetrated in the name of the law. The filmmakers showed tragic stories of women whose oppressors could go unpunished. Iratxe Sorzabal’s testimony is intertwined with memories of a mother who feared for the life of her daughter, whom she never saw again, for many years.
