It is not without reason that Iceland features as a cosmic or futuristic world in films. A train is travelling through a harsh, icy landscape. Out of the sleeping crowd, only three men wake up. Confused, they stay somewhere at a station in the middle of sinister wilderness. Here begins their dramatic journey in the shadow of the power of nature. Each viewer will come up with a different interpretation and for everyone it will cause a different kind of distress. A subtly construed story provides space for the contemplation of spectacular views and sounds. Extremely enigmatic and at the same hypnotising cinema devoid of simple guidelines.
