How can I buy a festival pass?

Here are available festival passes.

Does festival pass give me an access to all paid festival events?

Festival pass gives you access to all online screenings. Festival Pass 5 and Festival Pass 10 give you access to 5 and 10 selected film screenings respectively.

Do I have to create My KFF account to buy a pass?

Yes. Create your account and log in to My KFF before you buy a pass. You can use the account created in previous years.

Can I buy several passes?

After logging in to My KFF you can only buy 1 pass. To buy another one you will have to create a new My KFF account.

I want to buy a pass for the whole festival but I already have an unused pass for 5 screenings.

Are there any events that do not require passes, accreditations nor tickets?

Yes. Festival opening and closing ceremonies and other events broadcast in social media, such as Q&As, are open to public free of charge.

If I have a pass, do I still need to download a ticket for a chosen screening?

Yes. Log in to My KFF and download free tickets for selected film screenings. The number of tickets for online screenings is limited, so don’t wait till the last moment.

What are the free tickets?

The free tickets are used by pass and accreditation holders to book a place for selected film screenings.

How can I get a free ticket?

If you have a pass or accreditation log in to My KFF, find the film screening you want to watch in the programme and download the free ticket.

Where can I find a free ticket I already downloaded?

All downloaded free tickets are visible in your My KFF account. The confirmation will also be sent to your email address.

I have a pass. Can I download a free ticket for a screening that has already begun?

Yes, but not later than 30 minutes after it begun, as long as the tickets haven’t sold out.

What is the difference between a pass and accreditation?

Passes are available for all viewers in Poland. Accreditations are dedicated for film industry and media.

How long are the passes available for purchase?

Until June 7, 2020.

How can I collect a purchased pass?

You will receive a confirmation email. When we receive the payment your pass will be visible in your My KFF account. Remember to download free tickets for the screenings you want to watch.

Can I give my pass to another person?

No. The pass is connected to My KFF account and email address provided during registration.

Can I buy an extra ticket after purchasing a pass?

Yes, as long as you use a different email address.

I want to return a free ticket for a chosen screening and get a different one.

You can do it not later than 30 minutes after the beginning of the screening specified in the programme. Log in to My KFF and return the ticket you downloaded. This way you will free up a place for another viewer.

I downloaded a ticket for a screening that has already finished. Can I watch another screening?

No. Unused ticket cannot be transferred to another screening.

Can I change my mind during the screening and chose another one?

If you have a pass or accreditation you can return the downloaded ticket, but not later than 30 minutes after the screening beginning time specified in the programme. You can download a ticket for another screening but not later than 30 minutes after it begun. If you don’t have a pass or accreditation, after selecting a screening you can not change your ticket.

I can’t make up my mind which screening to choose. Can I download tickets for two screenings starting at the same time?

No. You can download only one free ticket for the same time.

Do I have to create My KFF account to buy a ticket for a selected screening?

No. However, My KFF account gives you an easy access to all tickets you purchased.

When are the ticket going on sale?

On May 20, 2020.

The film I wanted to see has started 15 minutes ago. Can I still buy a ticket and watch it from the beginning?

No. You can only buy a ticket before the screening begins. Remember that every film will be shown at the festival more than once. Check if the selected film is available later and buy a ticket for another screening.

How do I collect a purchased ticket?

After buying a ticket you will receive an email with an access code for the screening. If you log in to My KFF account, you will gain an easy access to all purchased tickets.

I have My KFF account. Will my ticket be visible there after the purchase?

Yes. When you log in to My KFF you gain an easy access to all tickets you purchased.

Can I buy more than one ticket for a selected screening?

With one email address you can only buy one ticket for a selected screening. If you want to buy another ticket, you will need to use a different email address.

Can I return a ticket I purchased?

No. The only exception is when the screening has been cancelled. Check the ticket return conditions in TERMS AND CONDITIONS.

How do I collect a ticket won in a competition?

You will receive the ticket won in the competition via email.

What are the accreditation types and what do they give access to?

There are two types of accreditations available for the film industry representatives and media. Industry Accreditation gives access to online festival screenings, special events and KFF Industry events (including KFF Market video library). Media Accreditation is dedicated solely for journalists covering the festival. It gives access to online festival screenings, special events and KFF Industry events (including KFF Market video library).

Do I need to create My KFF account to buy an accreditation?

Yes. Sign up or log in to My KFF and fill in the accreditation form before purchasing the accreditation.

I have an accreditation but I’m outside of Poland. How can I watch the festival films?

Online festival screenings are only available in Poland. If during the festival you are abroad, you can watch the films using KFF Market video library.

If I already have an accreditation, can I still buy another accreditation or a pass?

No. Accreditation is connected to My KFF account and email address provided during registration.

Until when can I get a festival accreditation?

Until June 7, 2020.

How can I check if I my accreditation was granted?

After we receive the payment, your accreditation will be visible in your My KFF.

If I have an accreditation, do I still need to download a free ticket?

If you are in Poland and you want to take part in online screenings, you have to download free tickets. All festival films can be found in KFF Market video library which you can access regardless of your location.

What is My KFF account?

My KFF allows you to:
– buy passes, accreditations and tickets for screenings
– create your own festival programme
– easily access purchased/downloaded tickets
– access the KFF Market video library (only for accredited festival guests)
– access the list of accredited guests (only for accredited festival guests)

What is a screening?

Screening is a film block consisting of one or multiple films.

Can I watch the online screenings outside of Poland?

Online festival screenings are only available to the viewers in Poland. Your location will be determined based on the IP address you use to access the festival website.

Can I watch the screening that has already begun from the start?

Yes. If you have a ticket (regular or free) you can start watching the screening as long as according to the programme it hasn’t finished yet. The screening will start streaming from the beginning.

Can I purchase a ticket for one selected film? How?

Tickets are sold for screenings which may consist of more than one film. You need to find a selected film in the programme and then buy a ticket for a screening that includes that film. The ticket will be valid for all the films in the selected screening.

Are all the films available in both Polish and English version?

Yes, the films are available both in Polish and English; some of them have English subtitles that cannot be switched off.

Can I access all the screenings at any time every day of the Festival?

No. Screenings in the programme have specified beginning times and screening days. Majority of the films are shown at least twice. Thanks to that, during the Festival you will have multiple options to watch a selected film.

I have a pass. Which screenings can I watch and how?

The number of screenings you have access to depends on the type of the pass. After logging in to My KFF find a screening you want to watch and download the free ticket.

I have a pass for the whole festival. Where can I save the screenings I want to see?

You can add the screenings you like to your favourites which are visible in your My KFF account.

I downloaded 5 free tickets for screenings. Where can I find them?

Your tickets are visible in My KFF account and available after you log in.

There are screenings for kids in the Festival programme. Can I watch the screening chosen for myself and show my kids a different film on another computer at the same time?

Yes. You need to have tickets for both of them.

Can I pause or rewind a film during the screening?

Yes. You can pause or rewind a screening.

Are there any free events?

Yes. Festival opening and closing ceremonies and other events broadcast in social media, such as Q&As, are open to public free of charge.

Is there a film or workshop programme for kids?

Yes. Kids&Youth section is dedicated for kids and teenagers. In the programme, apart from short films, animations and documentaries, you will also find online workshops.

Do I have to buy a ticket for Q&A with a director?

No. All Q&As are free of charge.

Which browsers can I use to watch the films online?

You can watch the films using: Chrome, Safari 12, Firefox, Microsoft Edge. We suggest installing the latest versions of the browsers.

What is the quality of the films?

All films are displayed in HD and adjust to the internet speed during the streaming: the highest possible quality – 1080p, the lowest – 540p.

What is the internet speed necessary for the streaming to work?

The minimum speed required is 2 Mbps, yet we suggest using 10 Mbps and above.

The film does not display or stutters. What is the reason and how can I fix it?

Most probably your internet speed is too slow or the device you are using does not meet the technical requirements. Check your internet connection and technical requirements or try to open the website on another device.

How can I pay for a ticket or a pass?

You can pay with your credit card, bank transfer, Blik, GooglePay, ApplePay.

How long does it take for the order to be cancelled?

If we don’t receive a payment confirmation, the order is automatically cancelled after 20 minutes.
