Birds of Paradise
Poland2025animated8'National Competition
Somewhere in the middle of nowhere, little black birds are building an island out of their own celebrations. They live there happily and in a carefree manner. However, when a mysterious object is washed ashore, the everyday life of the bird community begins to falter. The new, colourful world is tempting and fascinating, but it also divides and leads to conflict. Will the flock adapt to the changes or will their world be destroyed? ‘Bird of Paradise’ is a perverse tale about harmony and habits, and about the thin line between progress and chaos.
