Surviving the Death Commitee

One watches this film like a gripping thriller, and at times like a courtroom drama. An elaborate plot is unfolding before our eyes: different actions are taken to capture and try a man who was co-responsible for the massacre of thousands of Iranian political prisoners in the 1980s. Some of the prisoners were just teenagers at the time, many do not even have a grave. The man who managed to survive and the relatives of the victims, including the film director, who lives in exile in Sweden, join forces to ensure that justice is finally served. Will democratic procedures and an independent court of law suffice?
