‘The Show’ is a warm and funny animation showing the preparations of the oldest group at kindergarten no. 14 in Wrocław for a nativity play. The children enthusiastically play the roles of shepherds, Joseph and angels. However, the performance of the birth of Jesus also becomes a pretext to talk about sins, dreams and little adventures. In this way, the film presents the surprising logic of children and reveals what goes on behind the scenes of a kindergarten theatre. Natural dialogue and the world seen from the perspective of six-year-olds create a sincere and charming portrayal of childhood – with its little dramas and big questions.
