Poland2024documentary54'PL audio description

After his father’s death, Rafał decides to take a step that will help him to understand the tragedy – he meets his father’s killer. Daniel is 21 years old and has just left a detention centre. He is trying to start his life anew, but the reality of freedom proves brutal – he struggles with homelessness, lack of prospects and his own demons. Initially, Rafał only wants to know the perpetrator’s motives, but his involvement quickly goes beyond the planned distance. The film raises questions about the sense of forgiveness and rehabilitation – can a personal attempt to help really influence the lives of both the perpetrator and the victim?
