Adored by the media and the public, French star Amélia Starlight (starring Emmanuelle Béart) is terminally ill. She withdrew from public life a long time ago. She does not perform, give interviews or meet with anyone. So, when one afternoon, Danielle Villard, a journalist who hosts a popular talk show, listens to a message recorded by the star, she immediately gives up the weekend with her daughter and goes to meet the idolised singer. It turns out that Amélia wants to make another TV appearance, this time live.

She was born in the parisian region in 1993. In 2022, she directed her first medium-length film 'S’il-vous-plaît arrêtez tous de disparaître', selected in competition at various festivals (Festival de Brive, de Clermont-Ferrand, Cinema Jove, Que du feu, etc.). She trained in directing as a rehearsing coach and prompter for film actors. In 2024, she directed her second short film, 'Amelia Starlight'.
