When Rone, a well-known French DJ and creator of electronic music, finds out that whales respond to music, he sets off for the open ocean. He decides to engage animals in his artistic work. Not only does he play his own compositions to them, but he also records the sounds produced by humpbacks. He mimics them, mixes them and tries to note them down. Is musical dialogue between species possible at all? Thanks to collaboration with a team of marine biologists, the artist gains insight into the world of whales, learns to be mindful of nature and expands his sensitivity – not only the musical kind).
