It Lives Under the Snow
Azerbaijan, Singapore2025fiction16'Short film competition
In a snow-covered village, people have been disappearing for years. When Murad goes missing, a group of villagers join two men who set out in his footsteps, trying to shed light on yet another disappearance. The trail leads to a local tale about a mysterious creature hidden beneath the snow, and the line between what is rational and what fuels collective imagination begins to blur. This is a dense, unsettling tale of fear that grows in the shadow of ignorance, and of a truth hidden deeper than anyone could have imagined.
