Twenty-year-old Lotar functions on the outer fringes of his own ambitions – he lives with his grandmother, lacks courage, inspiration and self-belief, while reality seems to constantly undermine his self-worth. He seeks refuge in his imagination, where he takes on the persona of a confident rapper. The turning point is an absurd encounter in a supermarket, where a mischievous rapping sausage draws him into a series of freestyle battles. This grotesque impulse sets in motion a process of transformation, in which humour and irony reveal a story about the search for one’s own voice.
