A football-and-piano qui pro quo. In this Belgian comedy, a young man practising hard for an entrance exam to one of the leading schools of music must temporarily set aside his metronome, passages and études to step into the role of a Georgian football talent. This short film, drawing on the tradition of bourgeois farce, seems to be discreetly poking fun at the similarities between the seemingly disparate worlds of sports and artistic education. Strict discipline, competition, repetition-based training – perhaps Messi is not so very much different from Beethoven as one might think?
