Virtual Reality at KFF

In the third edition of the VR@KFF section, curated by Joanna Popińska, five exceptional immersive experiences will be presented. The programme includes: ‘Shelter’ — a powerful documentary about the war in Ukraine; ‘Emperor’ — an award-winning interactive story about aphasia; the fairy-tale-inspired ‘OTO’s Planet’; ‘Ancestral Secret’, which pushes the boundaries of reality; and the visually captivating ‘Play Life’. Each project showcases a different approach to storytelling in virtual reality, highlighting the richness of form and emotion that the immersive medium can offer.

Alongside his daughter, we journey into the father’s mental space - imagined as a hand-drawn, monochrome landscape - as she seeks to learn more about his inner self, now obscured by illness.

  • Oto’s Planet
