This year’s open-air cinema is a real treat for sports fans, in particular football enthusiasts. The documentary genre does not shy away from telling football stories. Come and see for yourselves! We revisit the emotions experienced by political prisoners in Poland as they waited for the Polish footballers to play at the 1982 World Cup in Spain, and catch a glimpse of our national team during Euro 2012. We root for the residents of an Icelandic village as they rebuild their football pitch, and we admire the veteran players of the Corinthians for their fight for FIFA’s recognition of women’s football.
